Wow. (Rupert!) Tonight Tim MIGHT try to stop by an ice cream place in Maine owned by a guy who was in the book H is for Hawk. He was a 365er, which is how I know him, and and a falconer. We’ve never met in person, but he’s a FB friend and I told Tim if he found him to mention FB and 365…

Yes Rupert!
I’d really love to hear more about the guy in H is for Hawk I’ve not l read the book yet but I’m planning on in reading it soon. Clare gave it to me and it’s on my to-read list. Actually that bookshelf is my “urgent” shelf minus a couple.

I loved it. Tim did not go to his ice cream place. His name is Scott. Watch for him.

I tend to judge people by the condiments they have in their fridge and the types of books they like reading. Can you also post a picture of the inside of your fridge?

Sure. Send me your email address and I’ll send you a pic of my mustards.

A wealthy neighbor/photographer once came around, took photos of the inside of people’s fridges, including mine. I wanted to buy a copy of the book, assuming mine was in it, but he was charging at least $100 for a copy, I think. Alas.

You should have gotten a free copy!

I love having a peek into other people’s bookshelves. That’s why I’m enjoying this month so much – especially seeing that so many of the books you’ve read are foreign to me. Though I did recognise some of the books!

Wow–very nice! Did Kim request photos of everyone’s bookshelves? If not, I think we should step up to the plate anyway.

Yes, she said she would like it if we shared photos of our shelves. I think it was in a comment on my cookbook post.
