That first time, we didn’t stay long in each other’s houses. We looked around, we talked to each other’s mother and young brother then returned to our own homes, refreshed; calmer than before the exchange.

I’m thinking we should all refresh occasionally.
Yes — and this is not just a story — I actually did this. It helped.
I love this little story
Thanks.
This is really intriguing. And that you did it? Fascinating.
How did that work??
Okay, I was an imaginative child and teenager, but this felt real. I’d place my forehead against the mirror, and push on the mirror with my fingertips and forehead and “go through.” I immediately felt different and walked around the house feeling better. I suppose some people left their houses when they had fights with their mothers, but I never did. I went through the looking glass instead.
